DataTrim Dupe Alerts – Remote Site

In our Spring 2016 release we have introduced a new function which dynamically can create List views on the Matched Records tab.

The functionality requires access to the API and the web-server with the APIs to be listed in the Remote Site sections of your setup.
You will therefore be required to do and verify 2 things:
1) That the TRIMDA domain is added to your list of Remote Sites
2) That the Installed Package has Unrestricted access to the APIs.

If you do not make these changes during the installation/setup you will be see an error message screen like this when trying to access the new functions: Review Dupes

1) Add TRIMDA domain to your list of Remote Sites

Go to: Setup -> Administration Setup -> Security Controls -> Remote Sites Settings
(https://na1.salesforce.com/0rp?spl1=1&setupid=SecurityRemoteProxy)

Add:
Remote Site Name: TRIMDA
Remote Site URL: https://trimda.na11.visual.force.com
Description: DataTrim

Note: the value na11 above is the domain of the salesforce server where your org is running.
In your case this should be replaced with the domain of your server.
Check out your browser URL for your value.
If you are using a personalized url and your browser displays e.g. https://mydomain.my.salesforce.com, you must include your domain in the Remote Site URL like this: https://mydomain–trimda.na11.visual.force.com

2) Give Installed Package Unrestricted access to the APIs

Go to: Setup -> App Setup -> Installed Packages
(https://na1.salesforce.com/0A3?setupid=ImportedPackage)

Make sure that the API Access value is set to Unrestricted
